Meyco Launches New Spa Cover Line at
2023 Pool & Spa Show in Atlantic City
Summary: Meyco Pool Covers launches a new hard-sided spa cover line including a solar powered thermal cover in 2023 with an early preview at the Pool and Spa Show in Atlantic City.
MELVILLE, NY, January 10, 2022 – Meyco Pool Covers will announce the launch of their new hard-sided spa over line at the 2023 Pool & Spa Show in Atlantic City.
“Finally, there’s a spa cover worthy of being called a Meyco,” said Meyco CEO John Ciniglio. “Bringing this new spa-cover product line to our company portfolio gives our customers a new, innovative product to offer their customers and there’s no better place or time to showcase a product launch than at the Pool & Spa Show.”
The decision to expand the company’s product line was based on the results of extensive research and development of a cover that resists waterlogging and is both energy efficient and kind to the environment. Meyco’s new line of DuraCore covers are also 90% recyclable –potentially saving tons of carbon over the covers’ lifetime.
DuraCore covers will be available in three different models designed to meet the environmental demands of different locations and climates.
- The DuraCore LT model is designed for mild climates and sheltered spaces and is 30% thinner and lighter than other similar covers on the market.
- The DuraCore Plus model is built for almost any environment\ with an extra inch of insulation.
- The DuraCore Super model was created for the most demanding environments with a high density double polycarbonate base layer and a double strength aluminum support in the center.
“Show attendees will also be impressed with the solar option that we will be offering on all or our DuraCore covers,” said Ciniglio.
According to Ciniglio, testing showed that a DuraCore solar cover could save up to 80% in heating/energy costs and the patent-pending design adds only five pounds to the total cover weight. The covers will initially be available with 10 different color options and all DuraCore covers will come with a 5-year warranty against waterlogging.
