Stay Safe from Email Scams!

We want to make sure everyone has a great—and safe—experience at The Pool & Spa Show. Unfortunately, scammers target events like ours by posing as official vendors or partners.

Smart Tips to Stay Scam-Free

  • Only trust emails from official @thepoolspashow.com or @nespapool.org addresses.

  • Always use links found on our website for hotel bookings or exhibitor resources.

  • Never share financial or personal information unless you're sure of the source.

  • When in doubt, call us: 609-689-9111

Here’s what you need to know to protect yourself and your team.

⚠️ Hotel Booking Scams

Some companies are falsely claiming to be our official hotel provider. These groups may email or call you offering “special” rates or pressuring you to book rooms through them. Do not engage with them.

The facts:

  • AC Central is the only official hotel broker for the Show.

  • You will not be contacted directly by AC Central by phone or email.

  • All legitimate hotel booking information will come directly from Show Management via official channels.

  • The only way to book your hotel through our official block is by using the reservation link on our website.

⚠️ Fake Attendee List Sales

Scammers may email you claiming to have access to past or current Show attendee lists. These offers are 100% fraudulent.

Here's what you need to know:

  • We do not sell our attendee list to third-party vendors.

  • Exhibitors will receive:

    • pre-Show contact list of registered attendees via email from Show Management.

    • complete post-Show list sent after the event.

  • If a company claims to have our list, they’re lying. Even if their email includes our logo or branding, it’s a scam.

⚠️ Email Spoofing & Phishing

Scammers sometimes send emails that look like they’re from NESPA or The Pool & Spa Show. These messages may ask you to click suspicious links or send payments through platforms like Zelle or wire transfers.

If you get a suspicious email:

  • Do not click any links or respond.

  • Delete the message immediately.

  • Notify your team so they are aware of the threat.

  • Contact us directly at 609-689-9111 with any concerns.
