    Description

Finding qualified employees remains one of the most persistent challenges facing pool and hot tub businesses, but the answer is not simply “post another job ad.” This session will help business owners and managers think more strategically about workforce development by connecting recruiting, apprenticeships, job boards, onboarding, training pathways, and employee retention into one practical system. Attendees will explore how apprenticeship-style models, structured career pathways, industry education, and stronger job postings can help attract new talent, develop entry-level employees faster, and create a more stable workforce. The session will also examine how employers can better communicate the value of careers in the pool and hot tub industry, build partnerships with schools and workforce organizations, and use available tools to turn hiring from a reactive scramble into an intentional talent-development strategy.
