If you think you’ve seen this course before, there are always some new creative details and examples! For decades, the vanishing edge and perimeter overflow pools have been a much-requested design. Today they are more popular than ever. New uses and new variations continue to challenge pool professionals. In this session, GENESIS founder and Ambassador Brian Van Bower will share his company's latest projects as well as some of our GENESIS Masters projects including some history of vanishing edges, practical methods for creating the visual and functional applications of water-in-transit features, system criteria that supports your project, and everything in-between. This course will help pool designers, landscape architects and contractors familiarize themselves with the intricacies of correctly designing and creating many different applications of water in transit for pools, spas, fountains and water features. Developing guidelines for implementing various types of water in transit designs including appropriate use of different edge details; system design; water storage; controls and more.
